The canals in London exist out of time, a haven of peace and tranquility within the busy city. This particular stretch of the canal has become increasingly important to me over the years I have lived in the area, part running track, studio, and nature retreat. I feel I know almost every twist and turn of it. I have painted parts of it many times and it was an obvious choice as a subject for this project.
