I recently moved from London to Lincolnshire. I painted "Leaves on a Stream" following a walk along a nearby river. A lot of my works stem from local walks, they're about the meditative act of walking and getting to know my new local landscape. I'm fascinated by landscapes and how they are affected by weather, atmosphere and mood. As shown by this work, I often find my gaze drawn downward, almost investigative, finding beauty in the quiet streams and foliage.
