Temperate rainforests are such a little known but vital part of our landscape. We've lost so many of these magical places due to climate change, industry and over-grazing, and I love walking and running through them, engaging all my senses to try to retain the smells, sounds, coolness, light. I want to tell more people about them, and painting is a good voice for this.
