I paint here often as it is a place where the world seems to stop, and all that happens is plants grow, insects buzz and chiffchaffs, chiff chaff away. In May this area is filled with wild flowers. On this particular day I was drawn to the elderflower head scooping low and peering out from the ferns and cleavers and brambles and grasses.
