This year we explored part of the...Every year I meet with the same group of friends to spend a few days catching up whilst walking for a few days. This year we explored part of the Western Ridgeway between Avebury and Waylands Smithy, an area rich with prehistoric monuments. This painting, a split panel, is an impression of moving through that landscape on a hot few days in early May.
