I have turned my attention to painting the surrounding temperate rainforest. The mosses and lichens are dominant...I recently relocated to Lustleigh a small village in the Dartmoor National Park. I have turned my attention to painting the surrounding temperate rainforest. The mosses and lichens are dominant features in this environment growing on granite boulders, tree trunks and branches. The spring turned the woodland floor into greens leaves and blue bells. It is an inspiration to paint these special places and thinking about how this may help the Wildlife Trusts care for landscapes near home.
