This work was inspired by a walk down the old city walls in my home city, Carlisle. I see this place in all weathers and at all times of year....This work was inspired by a walk down the old city walls in my home city, Carlisle. I see this place in all weathers and at all times of year. It is particularly atmospheric on an evening in May when the sun is going down and the street lights are coming on.
