Lion: Mark Adlington

Lion is the result of a three year project by Mark Adlington to study lions in six different habitats across Eastern and Southern Africa. The result is a superb series of paintings, drawings and sketchbooks representing months of patient work and careful observation giving him a unique insight into the lives of this most beautiful of big cats. The exhibition coincides with the publication of a book of the work with written contributions from frontline conservationists whose help and support made the project possible.  Lion is held in collaboration with Pride Lion Conservation Alliance.
