Rebecca Boyd Allen
Biography
Rebecca Boyd Allen is an American artist living and working in England. She is a painter with over three decades of experience, working across both oil and watercolour, with a recent focus on watercolour as her primary medium.
Her training includes study at the New York Studio School and The Slade School of Fine Art, as well as an MFA in Painting from Parsons School of Design in New York. This transatlantic education has informed a practice rooted in sustained observation and material sensitivity, developed through long engagement with painting as a disciplined and evolving process.
