I grew up in Mid Wales, where my family still live and work, and I spent countless hours exploring...I chose this location because it is deeply familiar to me. I grew up in Mid Wales, where my family still live and work, and I spent countless hours exploring the fields, trees, and woodlands around me. Those experiences shaped my relationship with the landscape and continue to influence my work today. Returning to these places through painting allows me to reconnect with an environment that has been a constant presence throughout my life.
