Along the coastline of the Corinthian Gulf, there is a place that holds many of my childhood memories and that I return to whenever I need serenity, clarity, and stillness.

Rather than depicting the landscape itself, I focused on the sea’s surface; its shifting textures, reflections, and the way light dissolves into water. While painting, I kept thinking about gravity, time, and the feeling of floating: through space, through memory, through life.

The sea offers a moment of pause, where movement and stillness exist together. It is a place that invites attention, reminding us to linger, to observe, and perhaps to wonder where time goes when we allow ourselves to simply be.
